Darren over at Blog-Republic blog started an interesting post today .. (well, interesting to me anyway – go see my comment) .. Pre-writing Blog Posts And Posting Later. As you may have noticed that I have many blogs in the HART-Empire Network and I thought you might be wondering how I can keep up with them all .. Now I will tell you:

I’m having trouble keeping up with them all and have to pick and choose sometimes which ones to nourish and which ones to grow flowers and sit with no new posts. Fortunately, on the slower blogs I can thank the internet for NOT being loyal, so my lack of posting on a few blogs has scared readers and subscribers away and there’s lessor expectations.

Here is my simple excel spreadsheet that I created to help me PRE-POST alot of entries every weekend around the blogs in my network. It’s not that complicated. I put the blog name in the left column, the date at the top column, and circle in hour numbers in the boxes down the line as I edit the timestamp and prepost information.

You are welcome to take this template and use it for your own purposes. You are also free to pass it along (because it’s not that big of a deal), although I hope that you remember where you got the idea and give me credit 😀 Maybe stroke my EGO here, and give me a blog comment to let me know that you have taken this template of mention it somewhere on your blog.

I am currently using Microsoft Excel for Windows 95, version 7.0 as my preferred spreadsheet program and version. You can change the text of anything I use to suit your own needs .. it is just a guideline.

PS: I never pre-post on THIS blog … just in the LVR-Series of pet related blogs, that SEO blog, that retirement blog and most of the shopping SITE-Series of blogs .. (in case you were wondering)

PPSS: (UPDATE) Here is an example of how I use this …

In the above example, I was only blogging on Jul 8th and Jul 14th and I would tackle a blog until the period was covered. I wouldn’t work in any particular order, and this is probably shows about 50% of the unproductivity I really possess.

I needed a sign up for volunteers in hourly format for a cancer benefit. This will have to do. Thanks,
