I am hoping what the IRS is currently doing with internet data for individuals is unconstitutional under the 4th Amendment. The IRS is defending their position saying that anyone on the internet has the “reasonable expectation that their information will be made public”. In addtion, it is rumored that someone very high up in the IRS has not been on the internet because he personally believes this to be the case. For me, current IRS behavior constitutes an unreasonable “search and seizure”.
