The AMERICAN DREAM is a 30 minute animated film that shows you how you’ve been scammed by the most basic elements of our government system.

All of us Americans strive for the American Dream, and this film shows you why your dream is getting farther and farther away.

Do you know how your money is created or how banking works?
Why did housing prices skyrocket and then plunge?

Do you really know what the Federal Reserve System is and how it affects you every single day?
THE AMERICAN DREAM takes an entertaining but hard hitting look at how the problems we have today are nothing new, and why leaders throughout our history have warned us and fought against the current type of financial system we have in America today. You will be challenged to investigate some very entrenched and powerful institutions in this nation, and hopefully encouraged to help get our nation back on track.

Timothy N says:

A friend forwarded this to me, Interesting video, but I am curious. Assuming the points mentioned are all valid, what is the best course of action?

The point appears to be that the Federal Reserve, which is a private bank and not owned by the government, is the one who has the exclusive ability/right to print money (and not the government). When the government or banks needs money, they get money loaned to them from the Federal Reserve, but that is a problem (as opposed to the government printing their own money) as interest is charged and the people get taxed to pay off that interest (or, charged interest from loans they receive from the bank, which you can argue that to a degree, responsible lending is a responsibility of the people/country to borrow money properly and not spend more then they need to or buy excess in credit).

So, money is worth less nowadays than it was years before, in part due to the taxes / interest paid to the federal reserve, then it would be without the federal reserve, if I'm understanding it right?  Is there a reason the government is not stepping up to prevent this loss of money by creating for themselves the ability to print money (other than the conspiracy theory involving JFK's death)?

Note, the beginning portion for the cause of losing a house / what you own, is due to a failure to 'pay back the money you owed from a loan to buy the house in the first place (along with the interest)', and does not seem like it can be solely pinned on 'banks' for the blame, it is a fault in part of the person with the loan.  How would this have been different, had banks not been involved?  The story seems to paint the picture that Pile already had a home, but took a loan to upgrade, then lost it for failure to pay back the money in a timely manner.  From that sense, is it not largely the fault of Pile in irresponsibly borrowing money?  Can banks be seen in a very negative light for the fault of the borrower?  Granted, yes, they shouldn't be loaning money to people who can't reasonably pay it back, for the borrowers sake as a failure to pay back brings trouble [and student loans, I feel, can fall in this category as education can be very expensive, and students don't have a proper / real-world concept of money and how much money is actually made year-to-year after taxes and living expenses, which affects what schools they look to, how much they borrow, etc].

Point being, related to this issue, the banks aren't solely to blame, and if people were taught good financial spending/lending advice and exercised spending self-restraint, they would probably save themselves trouble later  (I imagine this is part of the solution or the 'what is the best/next course of action')

The ADL and their accusations might also be a convenient "shield" from the truth. Anyone that says ANYTHING negative about ANYONE Jewish is suddenly "anti-semitic". Not rational or scientific. Just fearful and censoring.
I'm just saying…

Bramicus says:

This is the same tired old "International Jewish bankers trying to control the world" bullcrap. "Red Shield" refers to the Rothschilds, meaning the Jews (the word Rothschild means "red shield" in Old High German). Let's stick to rational discussion and skip the antisemitic conspiracy theory demonization, shall we?
